3D Motion Graphics Designer | Territory Studio

Concept, design, and graphical animation of holographic Heads-Up Displays (HUDs), signage, weapon reticles and holographic devices featured throughout the film.

Each of the seven hero characters had bespoke HUDs, tailored with unique colour schemes and design elements.
There were two distinct HUD types:

  • A large, multi-layered 3D HUD for key hero moments, featuring intricate geometry and complex animations.

  • A smaller, streamlined glass panel HUD for quick interactions, such as selecting weapons.

These HUDs were multipurpose, displaying a range of relevant story-point information. The designs seamlessly combined 2D and 3D elements, with animations that loaded and unloaded in synchronisation.

Beyond the character HUDs, I contributed to the DeLorean dashboard holograms, several holographic gun reticles, an archivist controller, and audio-reactive particles.

I spent nine months on this project, and it was a privilege to work with a group of talented creatives on a show with such rich & dynamic MGFX visuals.
