This exciting promo launched Sky Movies’ dedicated Star Wars Channel, taking the viewer on a journey through famous scenes from Episodes I through VI.
This was very much a team project bringing together dozen’s of artists and creatives to develop this stylised vision of the Star Wars universe and was a truly rewarding project to be part of.
I was involved in various parts of this piece including, but not limited to:
• Initial concept style frames
• Animated pre-vis on all scenes
• Rigging and Animating the ‘Pod Racer’ for the opening shot
• Animating the ‘Millennium Falcon’ in the final shot
• Various 3D modelling, texturing and lighting throughout, including Darth Vader Helmet
• Smoke trails beneath ‘Pod Racer’
